About the Virtual Museum

The
Trust for
Thanet Archaeology is
a Charitable
Trust that provides commercial archaeological
services in Thanet and east Kent as well as maintaining a Thanet Sites
and Monuments Register and the Virtual Museum of Thanet's Archaeology.
We strive to maintain a
comprehensive
account of the archaeology of the Isle of Thanet and to act as a focus
for education, research and interpretation of Thanet's archaeology
The Trust
has offices on the Quex Park estate in Birchington, on the
north western side of the Isle of Thanet.

We maintain the Isle of Thanet Sites and Monuments Register, an up to date list of all archaeological investigations past and present. To find out more about the Thanet Sites and Monuments Register follow this link: TSMR
The
Trust has developed a Virtual Museum of Thanet's Archaeology. With
period based galleries and displays on aspects of Thanet's special
archaeological heritage the Virtual museum is the strating point for
exploring the Island's Archaeology.
