The Isle of Thanet
The Isle of  Thanet is located at the eastern tip of Kent, it was once separated from the East Kent mainland by the Wantsum channel. The unique geographical setting of the Island has contributed to the diversity and richness of Thanet's archaeology.

The Trust for thanet Archaeology and the Isle of Thanet Archaeological Society are charitable Trusts set up to promote the study of Thanet's Archaeology.

The Trust for Thanet Archaeology offers professional archaeological services and provides educational resources  as well as maintaining the Virtual Museum of Thanet's Archaeology.
