On the 28th September 1992, the first timbers of what was later identified as a Bronze Age boat were discovered buried deep in the mud below Dover. Since then much research and analysis has taken place on the structure of the boat and its surrounding environment. Peter Clark will describe what the current research has revealed about the place of the Dover Bronze Age boat in prehistory and the progress of the international project to analyse and reconstruct a replica of the boat.
