About Us The Trust for
Thanet Archaeology is a Charitable
Trust that provides commercial archaeological
services in Thanet and east Kent as well as maintaining a Thanet Sites
and Monuments Register and the Virtual Museum of Thanet's Archaeology.
We strive to maintain a comprehensive
account of the archaeology of the Isle of Thanet and to act as a focus
for education, research and interpretation of Thanet's archaeology
The Trust has recently moved to
new offices on the Quex estate, Quex Park, Birchington, Thanet.
Birchington is
located on the north western side of the Isle of Thanet.

Crampton
Tower The Trust was formerly based in the historic Crampton Tower Yard, Broadstairs, Kent. Thomas Crampton was a pioneering civil engineer and one of the significant characters of the Isle of Thanet in the Industrial Age. Sites and Monuments Register We maintain the Isle of Thanet Sites and Monuments Register, an up to date list of all archaeological investigations past and present. The Sites and Monuments data has been digitised by Trust Staff and in the future some of this information will be made available through the website.
